When I was a young teen I had a saying, "why can't I work in IT and make it look good?" I can't recall what made that thought morph in my mind, but I ran with it, blindly, through life.
After graduating with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science I realized that it was hard to get into the world of IT. I made video games, created websites for fun, and messed around with graphic design while working the odd jobs to pay the bills.
In the midst of all of that time, I learned that I had a passion for teaching; loving the realization that I helped someone gain something they didn't have before.
I want to give people the tool that they need to succeed with technology: a clearer understanding. There is a misconception to concepts like programming, music production, or even using spreadsheets that they can be difficult to do. I've learned that even having just the basics can make a world of difference.
